What I get called for
If it is on this list, it is a normal day. If it is not, send a photo and I will tell you honestly whether it is mine or whether you need a licensed trade.
Doors and windows
Doors that stick, catch or will not latch. New weatherstripping, new locksets, screen repair.
Drywall and paint
Holes patched, cracks taped, texture matched, then a touch up so it disappears.
Fans and fixtures
Ceiling fans, light fixtures and outlet covers swapped out, mounted level and cleaned up.
Faucets and toilets
Drips, running toilets, new faucets and shutoff valves. Simple plumbing, no wall opening.
Decks and fences
Rotten boards pulled and replaced, wobbly rails braced, gates rehung so they close on their own.
The honey do list
Blinds, shelves, TV mounts, gutter cleaning, furniture builds. Save them up and knock them out in one trip.

A neighbor, not a franchise
I grew up out past the creek and I have been fixing things around this county for a long time. What started as helping family turned into a full time trade, and most of my work still comes from somebody telling their sister or their neighbor to call me.
That means I care what you say about me afterward. I will tell you when a job is too big for one person, and I will tell you when a repair is cheaper than the replacement somebody else quoted you.
Older homes, rentals between tenants, and the list of little things you have been walking past for two years. That is the work I like.
